[Eight items related to the Herrstein controversy on race and IQ]

Cambridge, MA, Boston: UAG; National Convention Against Racism, [1971]. Eight items, mostly 8.5x11 inch mimeographed handbills, generally very good.

One handbill is titled "Prof. R. Herrnstein says, 'Joblessness runs in the genes.' University Action Group says, Fight Harvard Prof's Fascist Lies." Calls for a rally to condemn an article Harvard professor Richard Herrnstein wrote for The Atlantic. Other items include an introduction to UAG, announcement of a convention against racism, and a "Draft resolution on racist, sexist, and anti-working class theories" presented to a business meeting of the American Historical Association by a group of grad students and faculty.
