Collection of materials representing 15 years of Hamilton's work, including octavo, quarto and folio materials (esoteric magazines, bulletins, booklets, double-fold newspaper excerpts, legal-size carbons) case-bound in spine-titled grey cloth, good to very good copies throughout; the 14x9 inch casing is large but sound and easily handled.

Hamilton began his career, as recorded here, as city manager of Carolina Beach, NC, the city report for which (1949-50) is the first item in this group. This is followed by a series of bulletins from the American Municipal Association, for which Hamilton was author or co-author, extending into 1954. Hamilton moved to Bangkok to serve as a municipal advisor to the Thai government, and the collection includes several documents written in this capacity, including "Thailand country paper, central services to local authorities" from the ESCAFE / EROPA conference, New Delhi, India, October 1963 (24p.); proposals for organizing a Bangkok Metropolitan Transit Board; "An assesment of metropolitan planning in Asia" (carbon copy of a typescript, 3p.), and reports submitted to the Thai goverment on planning conferences he attended; plus relevant newspaper and magazine clippings.
