Open letter from the Purple Heart awardee who lost both legs in Italy during WW II and lost his job at the Veterans Administration in April, 1949 because of membership in the Socialist Workers Party. After a lengthy legal battle, he went back to work on June 26, 1956. Four paragraphs of text. "I hope my case will now serve as an important legal precedent for others who have been victimized and smeared solely because of their political views."
