no place (Peshawar?): privately published, 1963. 82p., glossy paperstock throughout with well-reproduced visuals, 7x4.5 inch wire-spiral bound color wraps, foredge and some leaves a bit thumbed or crimped, in general a quite good copy. Featured are a folded Road Map of the kingdom -a rather straightforward one,- a photolith in green and gilt of the state flag, sepia gravure portaits of two dignitaries, plentiful b&w and color photography amidst a researched text. Has a brief nihil obstat by a state official, appears to be a product of private enterprise, the author possibly with the prominently advertised hotelier. Find at p.24 a typed notice of passport amendment pasted in: "Foreign nationals visiting Swat must obtain a tourist pass from the nearest Tourist Office in Pakistan"
