San Francisco: author, 1998. p., professional-level copyshop text and plain printed cover leaf (staple-fastened crookedly), with a holograph limitation note and an emendation. Standard leaves, has an original print reproduced as lower cover, this signed in the plate and dated in pencil. Number 6 of 21 copies, somewhat edgeworn with a tiny stain. Print is rather good, if obscure. Prose sample, the very first line: "And now, I am reading the Subterraneans, in the cool/hot lips of a Kerouac bop-tangent of word-soul torrent. Ancient memory of jagged Third Street tempos of jazzpark frisco that happened long ago." Oop, sorry, that was two lines. Sincerity, meet Parody.
"Presented in acknowledgment of the tremendous accomplishments of Mr. Jack Kerouac[, it] resulted from a reading of Kerouac's works at Vesuvio's on 10/25/98." At least Storti didn't labor over this for years.
