[Japan]: Nipponophone / Columbia, [1936-?]. Cloth-covered album containing eleven 78 rpm records, each in a decorative sleeve with Japanese calligraphy over a floral background; aside from minor dust-soiling which can be cleaned, the records appear playable, though we do not have the equipment to determine this with certainty; some surfaces may be sufficiently scratched to interrupt play. Title on spine of album; two small decorative caps have fallen off of the spine while two remain.
Hauta songs are a genre popular in 19th century Tokyo. This collection is listed online as having been issued in Showa year 11, but no date can be found on the album itself.
