The author, a hemophiliac, contracted AIDS through contaminated blood products. Discusses his appearance on a TV quiz show in 1994 in which contestants first tell their story to an audience of 100, receiving X votes of sympathy, and then go on to compete for a cash prize, and if they are correct they receive X% of the prize. He got 100%. He discusses the controversy that came with his appearance, for some accused him of marketing his illness, but his point was to demonstrate the financial needs of people with AIDS. The book takes a dialogue format.
