Los Angeles: author/editor, 1968. 48p., eyecatching color and b&w graphics and typography in wannabe 60's manner, huge boring poster bound in, glossy coated paperstock throughout, staplebound 11x11inch magazine. Laid in, two items: an INCA promotional leaf dated 1994 signed by Butler in inkpen, and a corner-stapled fascicle of 8p. closely-printed with Butler's thoughts on Oswald and related figures dated 1969. These items very good in a printed mailing envelope (unsent but slightly worn). Find Butler's holograph signature in ink on Contents page with his feckless "ThumbsUp!" message, not to be confused with an in-plate signature farther on.

Lavish sophomoric inartistic production, unwanted copies sold out of Ed Butler's garage to the indefatigable Andy Winiarczyk; whence this item. Butler evidently wished to promote a Right esthetic that could hold its own with Hip, and he was not without deeppocket friends; Schick bought the back cover, and Technicolor the verso; but you can't look like Playboy without the t&a or psychedelic without the psychedelics, and customers did not materialize. On the INCA sponsor list find not only Alton Ochsner but General Westmorland.
