An evaluation of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Alaska resupply program [complete in three volumes]

Billings, MT: Planning Support Group, 1975. 386p., divided into three volumes in wraps, 8.5x11 inches, spiralbound. Rubberstamp on cover indicates rejection as a duplicate by Harvard's Tozzer Library. The cover leaf of first volume (Phase I) is damaged, a large corner-tip is torn away; this affects cover graphic slightly but not the text. Else a quite good set. "Lighterage" by the way is the technique of transferring cargo between maritime vessels of different sizes, a necessary skill when bulky cargo carrier approaches a long narrow inlet (at the end of which these villages). Report #233.

Phase I. History and present role of the North Star III.--Phase II. Alternative transportation and lighterage methods.--Phase III. Conclusion and recommendations.
