This is the book which accompanied the NOLA exhibition and the film of the same name. The exhibition featured mostly African American artists from the South. The previous owner from the inscription and letters laid-in was Joseph L. Brotherton a San Francisco-based artist who was born and raised in Michigan and Montana.
