Rutland, VT: The Tuttle Company, 1925. xv, 293p., tissue-guarded full-page plates throughout (35, as called for), half leather case binding with gilt title, 10x12.5 inches, leather decayed, badly chipped and discolored although spine titling remains bright and whole. NB, the cardstock boards, where card is exposed, have been "sophisticated" inappropriately. B&W offset plates reproduce Haswell's title page layouts and other productions.
Vermont's first printer, saw limited service in the Revolutionary War, printed sermons, patriotic songs and verse lauding Masonic ideals. Edition limited to 300 signed copies: this copy signed by John Spargo but unnumbered.
