Japanese-language Communist Party journal, special issue on "Freedom, democracy and the Communist Party." Ichiro Ueda's contribution, on p. 77-89, is an essay on the origins of the Black struggle in the US, on the occasion of the Bicentennial. He has written some corrections in red pen to the text of the article. This issue also includes articles on Black resistance in South Africa and a photo essay on an Italian Communist campaign.
