The murder of Malcolm X [Realist no.73]; by Eric Norden in The realist, the magazine of wrongeous indignation

New York: the Realist, February, 1967. 18p. story in the 32p. magazine, slight browning of paper, otherwise very good. The issue also contains Krassner's obituary for Lenny Bruce.

The Krassner Lenny Bruce obit sandwiches in an account of a two-week seminar with Tim Leary. Norden's is surely one of the earliest investigative arguments positing that "the intelligence apparatus of the United States government" engineered Malcolm's death, and several earlier tries. Norden otherwise wrote science fiction, and pamphlets on US crimes in Vietnam and Indonesia, and an essay on the American paramilitary right.
