The off-Broadway production featured Divine (the stage name of Harris Glenn Milstead) as a retired stripper caught up in a murder mystery at a Baltimore burlesque house. It had had 84 showings in New York before.....

Bound volume of fourteen issues of Father Divine's weekly magazine, 115p. each, covering three months of the magazine; plain black boards with gilt lettering on spine, pages toned and brittle, first issue has chipping to edges of several pages with loss of a few.....
[Philadelphia]: [The New Day Publishing Co.], 1961. Paperback. 188p., glossy white wraps titled in bronze, 6.5x4.5 inches. Edges are slightly worn, old taped label on spine, covers are pulled back exposing the staples that bind textblock, but book remains generally sound, in fact a good copy.
