Editorial Katun, Mexico City. 1982, 56 + 59p., text in Spanish, illustrated with homoerotic drawings, one of 3000 copies, first appearance of this edition (and second edition of both works), very good trade paperback in light yellow wraps. A reissue of his two limited edition works complete with facsimile limitation pages and in-plate facsimile autographs. Nandino was always open, if circumspect, about his homosexuality. In this early work, 'drawings of fragmented bodies illustrate his verses, ... undoubtedly the reflection of his feeling of alienation and the division between body and mind, between his desires and desires that are socially constructed." Foster, Latin American Writers on Gay and Lesbian Themes, p. 284. This approach is aapparently a function of the inordinately masculine nature of his view of homosexuality, developed in part during his position as a prison surgeon
