The American Legion and the Communists discuss democracy, a debate. This pamphlet is a verbatim report of the debate between J.W. Person Post No. 14, American Legion, and the Communist Party of New York, held at the Erasmus Hall High School, Brooklyn, New York, on March 18, 1938.

Workers Library Publishers, New York. 1938, 79p., wraps, pp. 42-43 have a splatter of small spots. Debaters for the CP were Peter V. Cacchione, James W. Ford and Israel Amter; for the Legion - Edward E. Fuchs, Richard Fuchs and William Davis. The judges found that the American Legion won the debate, the Communists published it. Not found in Seidman.
