The case against general Heusinger documents illustrating the charges of the USSR against former lieutenant-general Adolf Heusinger, former operations chief of the wehrmacht high command

Translation World Publishers, Chicago. 1961, x, 175p., illustrated with full-page b&w facsimiles, texts in English. Oversize paperbound, 11 x 8.5 inch glossy wraps edgeworn with tears at bottom of spine. The Soviets want to extradite Heusinger, but wait! he's NATO's "military planning boss." Fifty-six documents from files in Soviet hands, in translation (laid-out as in facsimile), followed by the same fifty-six in full-page photocopy. There were HUAC hearings in May of 1962 about this book and its publisher. "Translation World Publishers," quoting from the hearings p.1590, " ..is jointly owned by LeRoy Wolins and David S. Canter. The firm was formed for the purpose of publicizing the admissions made by U-2 pilot Gary F. Powers during his trial in Moscow." The gist is that Wolins and Canter got Soviet monies, weren't properly registered under the foreign agents act when they issued the U-2 book and the Case Against Heusinger.
