Antibehaviorist crisis brought on by the author's job, overexposure to B.F. Skinner's adherents witting and unwitting, and nuts amongst the public. It must be an unusual circumstance, that New York City's mental health commisioner was for these several years a Korzybskian maverick (if I am seeing him rightly); several of his meditations arise as he returns to his office, views corpses of recent suicides in the city morgue. He hates the World Trade Center (pp.62-64, wonders why it was built) and Sesame Street. Articulate eccentric
