Jordan, Swift & Wiley, Boston. 1845, xix, 214p., first American edition, some foxing, a few signatures slightly pulled, original cloth binding a bit edge worn, with some wear at head and tail of spine, original spine gilt, while dulled and slightly soiled, is still visible, minor bubbling of cloth. *Ranta 64 Of interest is an ownership legend in pencil in a small neat hand on first blank reading "Anna Potts / 2nd mo. 1846" --evidently a first-issue purchaser.
