Liberal discussion of the evil "black hundreds", mobs of right-wing zealots, some clergy and drunken peasantry to conducted pogroms in the aftermath of the 1905 Revolution primarily in retaliation for the adoption of a constitution that stipulated a weak house of representatives (Duma) and a constitutional monarchy.
