Cage Productions Company, San Francisco. 1970, vi, 63p., 5.5x8.25 inches, illustrated with b&w photos from various productions around the US, first edition, pictorial wraps slightly worn with a clear wax stain on front wrap, previous owner's name on verso of front wrap. This prison play, by a San Quentin inmate who founded the prison's drama workshop, includes African American characters & numerous homosexual themes. It was the first play to be written and produced behind prison walls by an inmate. Cluchey worked with Samuel Beckett and Alan Mandell on Beckett's plays in prison. Basis of the film
