Random House, New York. 1935, 206p., first edition stated, small stain on front cover at top, slightly cocked, cream limp cloth boards, leather band with title in silver affixed wrapping boards and spine, silver and brown title label also wrapping from inner boards around the middle of the binding, glassine dj with gray paper inner flaps affixed, very poorly done and the glassine wrinkling and shrinking. Grier A*** The jacket design may have been original as several are noted amongst other dealers and yet it looks unprofessional. This bibliographer has as yet to see a different jacket. Wilhelm, an Oregon native who lived in San Francisco and Berkeley for most of her life, was a pioneering lesbian author. Her most prolific years were in the 1930s and 1940s.
