Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New York. 1987, 117p., signed by the St. Lucia born Nobel prize winner, first edition, first printing, very good condition in a dj with a trace of shelf wear and the original flap price intact. Poetry; much of which set in the US: "Nothing hurts as much as the word 'California,' / the wincing light of Los Angeles." The long title poem is set in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where Walcott has taken a motel room.
