Wong, Janet S.

Good luck gold and other poems

Margaret K. McElderry Books, New York. 1994, 42p., first edition clothbacked boards in dj; jacket bears some small pressure-marks and a label on the back with cataloguing information, an else fine copy. Poems for children reflecting the author's California/Asian American heritage, and children's insecurities in immigration. Author Wong "graduated from UCLA summa cum laude, then obtained a JD from Yale Law School. After practicing law for a number of years she decided to devote her time to writing. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son." Curiously the dust jacket illustration features a stereotyped San Francisco scene.
