Omni Publications, Hawthorne Ca. 1981, x, 221p., first edition of this translation, hardbound in dust jacket. Dj has a couple of short marginal tears in the back panel, else quite sound and entirely clean, a very good copy. Concerns US oil-company pressure on Mexico during the Harding administration; De la Huerta had wrung a fair deal from Washington which Obregon abrogated for no discernable reason. Born in Durango, academic and literary career in Mexico City; in 1973 "founded Teatro Intimo in Los Angeles, a theater devoted exclusively to the staging of plays in Spanish and where he currently serves as Director of Drama"-- from dj text.
