Good Times Commune, San Francisco. 1971, 28p., newsprint tabloid, 16x11 inches, rubricated cover and centerfold. Mild toning, slight misfolding and dustsoil, couple tiny closed marginal tears, a very good copy. Rear leaf a fullpage poster-style observance of George Jackson's murder, black portrait on red field with name and dates buff. Inside, a doublespread poster warns: "Get stoned. Shoot junk," shows sprawled hippie in a graveyard amongst gravestones, plunger lodged in arm. Front cover features "Womens March Against the Presidio, Sept.2-5" over a b&w collage with large rubricated star; also notes these articles to be found within: "George Jackson murder. Alternative schools. Mexican mushrooms. Revolutionary yoga." San Francisco's longest lasting underground paper. Find other articles along with usual ads of the era.
