Red Mountain Tribe, Berkeley, CA. 1969, 24 p., spot-color cover wrapper (Ho Chi Minh RIP) and centerspread (sex), folded tabloid (11.5x17 inches), rather toned, foxing and light handling wear along foldlines, has a tiny hole worn where foldlines cross. Find a sprinkle of faint dampstain along lower edge; a good-only copy. Exterior headline simply reads Ho and dates. Content starts with US Army and CIA lies to press; then SRI, recently kicked off Stanford campus, is hosting an International Industrial Conference (global take-over alleged), Berkeley Tenants Union plans, Peoples Park remembered, a Berkeley Tribe editor goes into hiding, Black Panther Labor Day Picnic, reporter Leo E. Laurence announces the birth of a School for Homosexual Liberation --and also a new spirit of expanding tolerance for gays with individual policy-minded folks like Stew Albert and the BPP in general--, Terrence Hallinan sues SFPD, a half-page on Harry Edwards' analysis of the attempt to buy off militant athletes (Edwards a professor at State and the organizer of 1968's Olympic boycott), a full-page of Spain Rodriguez' Trashman comix, a John Sinclair article reprinted from the Ann Arbor Argus.
