Peabody Medical Institute, Boston. 1881, xvi, 294 p., gilt edges, very good in elaborately decorated blue boards with gilt, facsimile of the author's medical board certification folded and tipped in at front, as issued; brochure tucked into the rear with form to be filled out and submitted with $5 to seek an appointment. Motto on front board: "Know thyself." A handsome item in very bright condition. Includes numerous testimonials from former patients who had suffered from impotence due to various causes, including "youthful indiscretions."
