Hammer & Steel, Mattapan Station, Boston. 1963-69, Ten issues of the mimeographed newsletter, 7x8.5 inches, various pagination; the three earliest issues are ex-library. Issues present are April 1963, Nov. 1964, January 1966, nos. 1-5 for 1968, and nos. 2 and 3 for 1969. Homer Chase, a former Maoist, created Hammer and Steel under the organizational name of the New England Party of Labor. No. 3 for 1968 discusses "The meaning of Martin Luther King's death."
