County of Los Angeles, Los Angeles. 1935, Unpaginated preliminaries, 219p., reproduced from professionally-executed typewritten manuscript and printed both recto and verso, find numerous line maps (with blue, red, green and yellow spot-colors), tables and organizational charts of some thirty cities, and a lengthy treatment on health provision. Item is softbound in 11x8.5 inch printed wraps with binder's-tape spine as issued; ex library (stamped "Bureau of Governmental Research Library, 44 Library Building") with a small homemade spine label and handwritten accession data on cover leaf. Bindery tape is splitting, external handling soil, clean and sound within. Foreword self-describes as "a cooperative effort made by representatives of units of government and various citizens representing many civic and commercial groups. The committee...is a semi-official body, nominated by cities and by private groups and was appointed and financed by the County of Los Angeles"
