Editor and publisher Marvin Sanford includes promotion of the Socialist Party and articles on social issues along with items contributed by other Amateur Press Clubs around the country. The club was named after Jack London, himself a former Amateur Press writer in San Francisco, and this issue includes a cover story arguing that atomic warfare would dwarf the horror of London's novel, "The Scarlet Plague." Also includes a report on the National Amateur Press Club convention in Los Angeles, the founding of a commune in Minneapolis, and more.
