Rimailho, L'-Colonel

Artillerie de Campagne

Gauthier-Villars et Cie, Editeurs, Paris. 1924, 506p., 10.5x6.6 inches, illustrated with plenty of grainy period snapshots and clear diagrams, softbound, the first edition: lacking wrappers and damp-stained. We offer a warped sewn textblock only, with various sorts of damage; threads are holding but the lowest tier (of 4) is at risk; begins with the half-title which with titlepage and dedication leaf are present and detached, as well as stained. No adhesions, every leaf is handleable (with difficulty), no losses of text. A reading copy without being reader-friendly. A bonus: laid in are two related items, a ditto'd treatise in Dutch on Netherland's howitzers (6p.), and a publisher's leaf from Gauthier-Villars from this same period, advertising "Tir des Fusils de chasse" Plusieurs, mucho field cannons. Boringly fascinating
