Outlines plans for a convention to be held during the Panama-Pacific Universal Exposition, the theme being "the suppression of tobacco smoking in public and semi-public places in the interest of public health and comfort." Includes message from Charles Pease listing doctors and professors preparing papers for the convention, and numerous quotes by advocates of a ban on public smoking.
