Slave labor: a reality, not history [handbill]

CHA, Oakland, CA. [1976], 8.5x11 inch leaflet with crudely reproduced photo of African American woman; date penned at upper right corner, contact info penned on the blank verso. CHA was one front for the National Labor Federation (NATLFED), in turn the public front of the Communist Party USA (Provisional) Order of Lenin, led by Jerri Doeden, who adopted the revolutionary pseudonym Eugenio Perente and a mythical biography to accompany it. The leaflet introduces the CHA and describes appalling work conditions of attendant care and domestic workers.
