McConnell, Samuel P.

"The Chicago Bomb Case; Personal Recollections of an American Tragedy;" [article in] Harpers Magazine, May 1934, volume 168

Harper & Brothers, Publishers, New York. 1934, Pp.730-739, entire magazine (633-760 and ads) softbound in 9.5x6.5 inch wraps. Quite edgeworn with a four-inch split in the upper joint, some pencilling in the Mickey Mouse story (reader doing sums, how wealthy Disney's getting), a reading copy. Also find Elmer Davis on FDR's Air Mail Policy, anonymous on Paris Riots, Arthur Mann on Mickey Mouse's Financial Career. McConnell, a lawyer, sat in on the trial; he did not care for judge Joseph E. Gary's courtroom manners.
