the newspaper, Marlborough. 1926, Approximately 5x8 inch card, crudely printed one side, minor pen notes. Printed on the second day of the General Strike, when paper supplies and labor had been cut off. The news was boiled down to its bare essentials: abbreviated and typo-ridden notices on the results of cricket, horse racing at Chester, and strike updates such as "Traihs run this afternoon voluntary labour," "Firms put stafl etc at disposal of Gov," and "clerks resumed work at Hull usual Work."
