[Bulosan, Carlos (as "Carl Bulusan"), William Everson (as "Bill"), contributors]

Poets of the Western Scene; Poems from Westward, A National Magazine of Verse. Edited and with a Foreword by Hans A. Hoffmann.

The Greater West Publishing Conmpany, San Leandro. 1937, 111p., hardbound in blue cloth boards titled white block-letters, a bit sunned and dust-soiled with a generic bookplate on pastedown, one or two poems ticked by a former owner, good copy, unnumbered, from a run limited to 300cc. Carlos Bulosan contributes a full-page "Mountain Manifesto, from Strange Heritage," in verse. Everson's short poem, printed earlier in editor Hoffmann's magazine, is his first appearance in hard covers. Also on board, Clark Ashton Smith (p.89), James Ramp (p.84; presumably the San Francisco native who wrote homoerotic novels sometimes using middle initial "H."), Robin Lampson, August W. Derleth, Stanton Coblentz and Lawrence Estevan.
