The Desire of His Life

A. L. Burt Company Publishers / by arrangement with McClelland and Stewart, New York. no date, late 1920s, 250p., [6]p. publisher's ads, hardbound in dark grey cloth boards titled and panelled in red, in color pictorial dust jacket. Has a top edge tint, nice production in very good condition, casing as well as dj. Casing shows faintest edgewear, textblock is entirely clean and sound. The jacket (credited to A. D. Rahm) while a bit worn across the top margin with tiny chips, bottom margin ditto but less so, sports a very fresh-looking sunset-with-flapper image; spine panel is undecorated buff and is mildly dust-soiled, with a half-inch accidental ink stroke that sort of looks official. A collectable copy.
