Unemployment Council, Des Moines, IA. [1934-?], 5.5x8.5 inch leaflet, evenly toned, otherwise very good; 33 lines of text. Calls for a May Day rally; "All out! Negro and White! Native and foreign born!" Goals include equality for Black workers in the South East Bottoms and a wage hike for workers on the Euclid Avenue Bridge. Calls for support of the Workers' Unemployment and Social Insurance Bill (HR. 7598), thus probably 1934. UIses some CPUSA boilerplate, such as "Against rising Fascism and the growing war danger."
