"The independence of India has rendered Portuguese colonial rule in Goa an anachronism;" p.29. Photos show police pushing people around, and a devotional march some of whose member marchers would soon be dead from police bullets, as well as local-color type photos. One chapter is entitled "No Threat to Christianity"
