Rhode Island Historical Society stamp and label and donor's name in sepia nib, plus careless institutional pencilled emphases on the cover; dust-soil, faint foxing, untrimmed edges show mild crumpling, old transverse fold-lines (now flat), good-only copy. Land for infrastructure, public buildings such as school for deaf &c &c, questions of taxation.
