A lament on the occasion of the French revolution, intended to stir Britons to resist the revolutionary tide. "O murder'd Charles! the Fiend, who laid Thee low, / Again comes wildly forth, and speeds to woe: / More high she towers; more wide she waves her hand;/ And shakes o'er hundred realms her livid brand..."
