Upson, Lent D.

How to graft a letter from a dean of public administration to his graduates

privately printed, Detroit. 1942, 29p., staplebound 8x5 inch plain printed wraps; spinefold is torn in several places, the largest of which tear has responded nicely to our ministrations with document tape (applied verso; we know what we're doing). Expect also mild toning of paperstock and a small neat ownership signature on cover. On p.2 a useful "Tentative classification of graft," which opens with "Staple and Fancy Thievery" from hand-in-till to licencing and fees. On to "Larceny by Extortion" with six varieties starting with what can be gotten by tough inspections. Then "Payroll Possibilities" --friends, ralatives, kick-backs, padding, etc. Four more general catagories yield further particulars, the singulars of which might well have earned dean Upson cement shoes
