[Lawson, Elizabeth]

History of the American Negro People 1619-1918; study outline

Workers Bookshop, New York. 1941, 101p., text reproduced from typescript, stapled textblock in paste-fastened printed wraps. Quite edgeworn, with ragged tears to rear cover, and former owner's cautious annotations and underlinings; paperstock reasonably sound but faintly damp-rippled. Laid in are several printed items the owner thought supplementary including an undated newsclip entitled "Renegade Browder now slaveowners' apologist" Verso title page states that "This outline was prepared on the basis of a series of lectures delivered by Elizabeth Lawson, Chairman, History Department New York Workers School"
