"Gabbeh is a kind of coarse rug woven by the women of nomadic tribes in the south-west of Iran. Carrying the unfinished ones together with weaving frameworks on their beasts of burden when seasonally decamping to migrate to and fro between cold and warm regions, they install the weaving frames horizontally on the ground" etc etc
