Runs from vol. 1, no. 1 (Sept.-Oct. 1992) to vol. 6, no. 1 (Dec. - Jan. 1998) Distinctive Sonoma County underground paper (in magazine format), founded by former staff of the Sonoma County Free Press. The X-Press tried to forge a political realignment beyond Left and Right, but often fell prey to conspiracy theories. Roughly aligned with the KPFA faction defending Craig Hulet. Much material on Native American, Chicano, Black and prisoner struggles, along with local issues.
