Novikoff, Madame Olga, "O. K."

Russian memories; with an introduction by Stephen Graham and fifteen illustrations

E. P. Dutton & Company, New York. [1916], 310p., inserted plates as called for, first American edition red cloth boards titled and panelled in black. There are several short pull-tears at the head and slight crimping of tail, and a few spots of foxing to preliminaries. Bright and tight; despite the tears a very good copy. Thomas Carlyle and she frequently exchanged visits. Froude came to call. Gladstone escorted her home after one of his speeches. A grande dame indeed.
