Random House printed by The Grabhorn Press, New York & San Francisco. 1936, 92p., "Note to fellow Marxists" as a dedication essay; 1/1500 copies, very good first edition in cloth in tanned, edgeworn and price-clipped dj with darkened spine. Field (author of the narrative poem "Barabbas") lived in San Francisco, California and, as she states in her note to fellow Marxists, was a believer in world revolution. She explains the lack of obvious poetry regarding Marxism or revolution in her 4 page note. While in Portland, Oregon she met and married anarchist Charles Erskine Scott Wood. She was also a major figure in the women's suffrage movement.
