Mild external wear with a faint cover stain, this copy inscriped and signed by the poet as "Fritz." in the title poem a Viet vet lies dying of Agent Orange exposure in a Tenderloin apartment as his wife and child withdraw from reality. The other poems tell and re-tell wino Roy's hideous end at 16th and Mission. Backpocket poet series no. 1. In 1990 Hamilton published an AIDS novel, presumably from his counselling experiences which are alluded to in these poems
