United Negro Youth of America for the Malcolm-Dorsey Memorial Committee, Atlanta. 1948, 36p., very good in wraps with blurb by Mary McLeod Bethune, list of members of the Malcolm-Dorsey Memorial Committee on the rear wrap. Jenkins' poem is a scathing indictment of the murder of two African American couples in Monroe, GA, and the failure of the FBI and the judicial system to indict the white mob that did the shootings (the case was reopened, to no avail, in the 1990s). The case pressured the federal govenment to step up its civil rights activities. Proceeds from the sale of the pamphlet went to the construction of an Atlanta hospital in the names of the victims; Jenkins served as the Committee's secretary.
